For customers living in countries where EMS and e-packet are suspended
EMS、e-packet停止中の国にお住まいのお客様へ - Due to the stoppage of the post office (EMS, International e-packet) service, it is now possible to send by Fedex delivery service in some areas.
Currently, FedEx only accepts International Priority Service, which is more expensive than EMS, but in some countries it can be delivered to the customer in as little as 5 days after shipment.
Please select "FedEx" when selecting your shipping company.

Temporary suspension of acceptance of various mail items destined to the United States
米国宛て国際郵便物の一時引受停止について - We have previously announced that considerable delivery delays can be expected for mail items destined to the United States due to the significant reduction and suspension of flights caused by the novel coronavirus pandemic.
Although we have made every effort to secure speedy dispatch to the United States in cooperation with airline companies and the U.S. Postal Service, at present, we are unable to make any prospect for dispatching mail items to the United States because of the drastic decline in transportation performance due to the further significant reduction and suspension of flights.
Therefore, acceptance of various mail items destined to the United States will be temporarily suspended from April 24. For details, please see the chart below.

米国宛て国際郵便物の一時引受停止について - We have just informed you of the significant delays in international mail addressed to the United States due to reduced or cancelled aircraft services due to the global spread of the new coronavirus infection.
In cooperation with the airlines and the U.S. Postal Service, we have made every effort to ship promptly. However, due to a significant decrease in capacity due to further flight reductions and suspensions, it is no longer possible to send some international mail to the United States.
For the time being, starting Friday, April 24, we will temporarily suspend acceptance of the following international mail* to the United States.

Considerable delivery delays for mail items destined to the United States
米国宛て国際郵便物の大幅な遅延について - As we have announced previously, the novel coronavirus pandemic has caused a global reduction of flights. Accordingly, acceptance of international mail items to some countries/territories is temporarily suspended and considerable delivery delays are expected for outbound mail items to other countries/territories.
Although mail items to the United States are currently being accepted, it is expected to take more than two weeks to load the items that have already been accepted on airplanes to that country due to the significant reduction and suspension of flights.
Therefore, we are trying our best to dispatch promptly as many postal items as possible to the United States, cooperating with airline companies and the postal operator in that country.
We sincerely apologize that delivery will take more time than usual. It would be appreciated if you would kindly understand this situation in advance.

中国宛て国際郵便の一時引受停止について
Temporary suspension of acceptance of mail items destined to China - As we have previously announced, considerable delivery delays are expected for mail items to China except for Hong Kong and Macao.
However, as transportation performance has declined drastically since March 9 due to immigration restrictions on visitors from China to Japan and restrictions on flights from/to that country, among other reasons, we are unable to make any prospect for dispatching mail items to China.
Therefore, acceptance of mail items destined to China will be temporarily suspended from March 13, except for some letter-post items such as letters, postcards and mail for the blind by air.

モンゴル宛て国際郵便の一時引受停止について - In order to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus infection in Mongolia, airline flights between Mongolia and Japan have been canceled for the time being. Therefore Japan Post cannot secure transportation for international mail to Mongolia.

中国宛て国際郵便物の大幅な遅延について
Considerable delivery delays expected for outbound mail items to China - 中国宛て国際郵便物の大幅な遅延の状況をお知らせしてきたところですが、2月10日(月)以降、中国宛て航空機が大幅運休となったため、現在のままでは、お預かりしている中国宛て国際郵便物の航空機への搭載に2週間以上の期間を要することが見込まれます。
このため、弊社といたしましては、中国宛てのチャーター便の手配、他国経由での輸送や、中国の郵便事業体とも協力の上、より多くの郵便物を速やかに中国宛てに発送できるよう最大限努めてまいります。
引き続き、お届けまでに相当の日数を要しますが、予めご理解ご了承いただきますよう何とぞお願い申し上げます。
今回のお届け遅延に関連して、中国、香港、マカオおよびモンゴルの各郵便事業体から以下のとおり通知がありましたのでお知らせします。
なお、今後の状況に応じては、変更になる可能性がありますので、変更になりましたら、その都度、情報を更新いたします。
As we have announced previously, considerable delivery delays are expected for outbound mail items to China due to significant cancellations of flights that were scheduled to transport postal items to China since February 10. It is expected to take more than two weeks to upload the items to China that have already been accepted at present.
Therefore, we are trying our best to dispatch promptly as many postal items as possible to China by reserving charter flights to that country, transporting items via other countries and cooperating with the postal operator in China. Although delivery will require considerable more time than usual, it would be appreciated if you would kindly understand this situation in advance.
The following information is based on notifications from other designated postal operators concerning delivery delays. The situation may change according to the circumstances. Updates will be provided as revised information is received.
